Answered Prayer For Space

Dear Friends,

I wanted to take a moment to say “thank you” to all of you who prayed for space. As I wrote in April, The Daily Bread Project feeding ministry experienced a long period of being crammed like sardines in a can. But - I am glad to report it seems we have now come to the end of that season.

God has given us a new place to meet (a local church in Kawangware). We started meeting in the new location in June. There are so many benefits to this change. First, the venue is now much closer to The IAMercy Village. Second, the main hall for teaching and feeding is a lot bigger than the place where we used to meet. We have room to stretch out when we take our food! Third, we also have an additional two rooms in which we can meet. So now we are breaking the kids down from ages 0 to 6, 7 to 9, and 10+. We have staff and volunteers who are teaching the various groups of kids. This gives us the added advantage of being able to use more people who have wanted to volunteer for the ministry but were benched because we just didn’t have an appropriate venue in which we could utilize their strengths.

Take a few seconds to scroll through the pictures below. Enjoy the smiling faces on the kids (many of them seem to like the new space a lot more too). And, please, join me in giving God thanks for this wonderful provision.

Pax Christi,

Seth Johnson
